* Bill Heid

Bill Heid is a stalwart of the ivory keys, a dexterous player who is able to punch out powerful piano harmonies and well as settle into cool organ grooves that supplant cocktail stereotypes. A serious student of jazz and the blues, Heid as recorded and performed with a roster of top-tier musicians that should make any cat cringe with jealousy, including Sonny Stitt, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and David “Fathead” Newman. He performs weekly with his group the B-2 Bombers at Tryst cafe in Adams Morgan.
