* Christie Dashiell

A former member of Howard University’s Afro Blue jazz choir and erstwhile star of NBC’s The Sing-Off, Christie Dashiell is one of D.C.’s most beloved young jazz personas. She has a riveting voice, and an understated attention to detail; whether singing a re-harmonized Stevie Wonder tune, a jazz standard or an original, Dashiell almost always sounds like she’s smiling.
