* Mixtape Monday’s and Jam Session

Every week at Petworth’s Homestead Food, Elijah Jama Balbed, that wisened, grizzled yet young tenor lion of the D.C. jazz scene, seeks to mix up and mix together more members of the D.C. music scene. Every Monday features the house band, featuring Mark Meadows on keys, Dante Pope on drums, and beat maker/mix master Ramy Amenra El Oyoun, bringing their diverse musical backgrounds to the foreground.
