The Kennedy Center presents its annual tribute to the spirit of prolific and powerful composer and pianist Mary Lou Williams.

On night two, performances from a pair of quartets, each led by leading female pianists.

NEA Jazz Master, pianist and educator Joanne Brackeen leads a quartet through her own take on modern jazz.

Straight-ahead pianist Renan Rosnes leads a small combo.
