Pianist, bandleader and producer Aaron Hill is just as fluent in the language of modern hip-hop and R&B as he is jazz; he can build woozy beats in a cinch or lay down a calm, flowing piano ballad.
He leads a trio every Sunday in Baltimore that features the bassist Eddie Hrybyk, a popular sideman and occasional leader in Baltimore’s straight-ahead jazz scene. Hrybyk broadcasts the trio performances on his facebook page.
