Brownout perform super-heavy psychedelic Latin funk that also draws influences from wide-and-far: break dancing, James Brown, hip-hop and heavy metal. The group reached a level of national acclaim in 2014 when their one-off performance of Black Sabbath material, “Brownout Presents Brown Sabbath,” took on a life of its own.
