Saxophonist Carl Cornwell is a veteran of Pharoah Sanders’ bands as well as Gil Scott-Heron’s Amnesia Express (which he co-founded with the late poet and musical polymath). He plays blistering bop standards and originals.

He leads a quartet of DMV veterans in a concert that will be broadcast by An Die Musik Live.
