Alto saxophonist and vocalist Carlos Johnson is one of those icons of the Baltimore scene; a veteran whose toured with everyone from Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder to Lena Horne and Roy Ayers. He swings and soars in a classic, hard-bop/1950s jazz style. The elder of the DMV jazz scene performs a special Valentine’s Day program for the crowd at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
