Emcee Deacon Izzy can often be found lending his playful, pointed rhymes to DC’s jazz musicians. He’s a leading voice in Mark Meadows’ Movement, DuPont Brass, the Jo-Go Project and performs often at Marvin.

With his own group, the Congregation, he performs his So N Luv Wit U project at the Millennium Stage for Valentines’ Day.
