Trombonist Greg Boyer has worked with Parliament-Funkadelic, Stanley Clarke, Prince and many other stars. He’s also a member of the Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra, and a popular sideman on the D.C. jazz scene. Here the strong, distinctive improviser leads Peloton, his own reappraisal of the traditional acoustic jazz quartet. With Boyer at the helm, the group dives into renditions of funk, rock and jazz tunes. Two separate sets at 7:30 and 9 p.m.
