Habitat is the new project of Baltimore-based bassist Ian Rashkin and Minneapolis-based pianist and ecologist Todd Harper. The two performed in a group previously that weaves folklore traditions and jazz improvising and Habitat builds on that with help from alto saxophonist Sarah Hughes, one of the strongest improvisers in the area.

Also performing are Unseen Rain, a free chamber music group.
