Pianist and organist Harry Appelman is a mainstay in D.C. straight-ahead  jazz circles. He touches the ivories with a sense of romance and delicacy informed by the likes of Bill Evans.

He plays in a duo with the Baltimorian trumpeter Dave Ballou, an inventive and energetic player that can be found blowing standards as well as creative pieces.

The two perform a live stream broadcast from Baltimore’s An Die Musik Live.
