Herb Scott is a tireless champion of jazz in the District. He can be found most often on Capitol Hill, either leading the Wednesday jazz jam at Mr. Henry’s or advocating in the halls of power as Executive Director of the Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation. On the bandstand, Scott’s alto sax blows bright and clear, often fluttering over straight-ahead swing or with the keyboard sounds of gospel and soul.

He plays a virtual concert broadcast by Mr. Henry’s on their Facebook page.
