The inventive, imaginative pianist Jason Moran, also artistic director for Jazz at the Kennedy Center, presents a program of music and multimedia art highlighting the life and legacy of James Reese Europe and The Harlem Hellfighters, the military band credited for the first great wave of jazz-evangelizing in post-World War I Europe.
