Pianist Jason Yeager performs in support of his new album New Songs of Resistance, a collection of Afro-Cuban and straight-ahead numbers in the same vein of jazz protest as Max Roach’s Freedom Now Suite, Abbey Lincoln’s work and the challenging music of Mary Halvorson’s Code Girl. Two separate sets at 9 and 11 p.m.
