June 2, 2019 all-day
Phillips Collection
1600 21st St NW
DC 20009

The annual soft-launch of the D.C. Jazz Festival, “Jazz N’ Family Fun Days” features some of the best jazz artists in D.C. performing all day at the Phillips Collection for absolutely free! Activities start at 12 p.m.

The second day includes performances by Todd Marcus, perhaps the most prominent bass clarinetist in jazz, and his quartet; experimental, hustling saxophonist Brad Linde and his Team Players; scene mainstay saxophonist Herb Scott; and swinging, lyrical trumpeter Michael Thomas and his quintet.
