Last year Westminster Presbyterian, D.C.’s “jazz church,” celebrated 20 years of its landmark Friday “Jazz Night in D.C.” series. Some of D.C.’s straight-ahead elders gather this night on the pulpit to celebrate “Jazz Night’s” third decade of bringing together people over music, food and community.

The full line-up of performers is as follows: Paul Carr, tenor saxophone; Marshall Keys, alto saxophone; Bob Butta, piano; Wade Beach, piano; DeAndrey Howard, trumpet; Chuck Redd, vibraphone;
Steve Novosel, bass; James King, bass; Percy Smith, drums; and Nasar Abadey, drums.
