Joe Morris is a fearless improviser, guitarist and bandleader. He can cut straight-down the line of modern mainstream, ECM-ish chamber jazz, but also turn his Ornette and Monk instincts up to 11 to push his six-stringed instrument far out there.

He plays in a duo with celebrated drummer Tomas Fujiwara.

Presented as a co-production of Transparent Productions and the D.C. Jazz Festival.
