Baltimore’s Joshua Espinoza is a student of modern piano jazz masters; his sound and material suggests deference to Brad Mehldau’s melancholic, wistful touch on the ivories. He performs with his trio to celebrate their new album Journey Into Night, featuring arrangements of both classic jazz affairs like “Take the ‘A’ Train” and new-wave hit “There’s Always Something There To Remind Me.” Two separate sets at 8 and 10 p.m.
