Kevin Cordt Quartet

November 13, 2015 @ 8:00 pm
Mr. Henry's
601 Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast
Washington, DC 20003

Trumpeter Kevin Cordt used to play at Mr. Henry’s 10 years ago, before the Capitol Hill bar and grill stopped hosting jazz. Now the music is back on, and Cordt’s straight-ahead quartet is back. The tunes here contribute to the atmosphere more than they hold the spotlight, but if you come to listen you’ll be rewarded: Cordt’s group has talent. They play here every second and fourth Friday of the month.
