Trumpeter Muneer Nasser plays with an easy swinging, lyrical and full bodied sound. He celebrates the release of his debut album A Soldier’s Story with an all-star crew of D.C. musicians including the subtle sonic painter Elijah Easton on tenor sax, DC jazz dean Allyn Johnson on the ivory keys, James King on bass and John Lamkin III on drums.
