Vibraphonist Nikara Warren plays with a strong bop sensibility not unlike Milt Jackson. A frequent collaborator with bop paragon Kenny Barron, she leads a sextet performance of her work “Black Wall Street,” dedicate to the Black Wall Street Massacre of 1921 and the conversations around uplifting black businesses and entrepreneurs.
