***SOLD OUT Eddie Palmieri

March 16, 2019 @ 8:00 pm
Blues Alley
1073 Wisconsin Ave NW
DC 20007
$55 - $60 (Plus $12 Minimum and $5 Fee)

**Please note, the 8 p.m. set for Saturday, March 16 is sold out.

Eddie Palmieri is not only one of the most celebrated Latin jazz pianists of the last several decades; he’s one of the most accomplished masters ivory key in any style. A stalwart of salsa and Afro-Cuban grooves, he plays with a highly lyrical, honeyed-sweet melodic touch. He can also be quite adventurous, occasionally starting shows sitting alone onstage as he orates a Cecil Taylor/Keith Jarrett-esque piano monologue. Two separate sets at 8 and 10 p.m.
