Alfredo Rodríguez, a Quincy Jones-protege whose something of a Cuban Keith Jarrett on the ivory keys, teams up with human beat factory, percussionist and vocalist Pedrito Martinez, a fluid yet staunch embodiment of the Afro-Cuban jazz tradition. The two perform originals and covers from their record Duologue (Mack Avenue) to tell their story and express their vision of contemporary Cuban music. Two separate sets at 7 and 9 p.m.
