* T.K. Blue & Billy Harper Quintet: Music of Randy Weston (Livestream)

May 16, 2021 @ 7:30 pm
Keystone Korner Baltimore
Link to Come
$10 (Plus $1 Fees)

Alto-saxophonist T.K. Blue often performs music that honors his Jamaican and Trinidadian heritage, with a silky, smooth tone. Tenor saxophonist Billy Harper is of that generation of players that can’t help but channel the tone and form of John Coltrane; Harper’s is forceful and dense but not obstinate.

The two musicians co-lead a quintet that pays tribute to the great pianist, composer and Pan-Africanist Randy Weston.

The show will be broadcast from the Keystone Korner club in Baltimore.

The link for the stream will be sent after you’ve purchased a ticket.
