* The Jo-Go Project (Livestream)

Keystone Korner Baltimore Live Stream
$10 (Plus $1.20 Fee)

Saxophonist Elijah Jamal Balbed was born and raised in Silver Spring and is a consummate student of the D.C. music scene: He’s equally comfortable blowing some burnished, buoyant hard-bop as he is grooving in the pocket of a go-go band. On that note, he learned at the feet of the great man himself; Chuck Brown, the godfather of go-go music. He goes from sax sideman in the Brown band to leading his own jazz-go-go fusion joint, the Jo-Go Project. The 10-piece group combines the infinitely infectious go-go groove with more winding jazz improvisatio

The Jo-Go Project will perform set at the KeyStone Korner Club in Baltimore, which will livestream the event.

The link to the livestream will be emailed once you’ve registered for a ticket.
