400 I St SW
For twenty years the Westminster Presbyterian Church has served as a gathering point for the D.C. jazz community and its surrounding Southwest neighborhood. Food, music and greetings are shared by all in a weekly celebration of simple joys.
To mark twenty years, some of Westminster’s most popular acts – also some of the top jazz musicians in the district – join together for a concert to salute this sacred space in Southwest. Paul Carr, Thad Wilson, Allyn Johnson, James King, Nasar Abadey and vocalist Dick Smith, whose been a key organizer of jazz night, as well as special guests perform in an all-star ensemble.
