Photos | HR-57’s last Logan night

Saturday was a melancholy night at HR-57, where Ajay Parham and his band performed the club’s final show at its 14th St. location. But it will be exciting to see jazz move back into the H Street Corridor, which already boasts a variety of venues showcasing music from go-go to rock. The Logan Circle club will be opening at 9th and H Streets Northeast in a few weeks, although a specific date has yet to be announced publicly.  Drummer and regular HR jam session leader Jimmy “Junebug” Jackson, owner Tony Puesan and Parham (pictured below, from left) all projected that a strong following will soon develop at H Street.
